Every member gets 100 points at midnight. A like costs 1, a standout 10, an undo 5, a boost 30. That is roughly 100 likes a day, which is more than anyone should be doing.
Unspent points vanish at midnight. There is nothing to hoard, nothing to grind for, and nothing to sell. Running out means "come back tomorrow", never "pay us".
There is no top-up button. The only way to get extra points is to invite a friend who finishes their profile, and you both get the same bonus.
Paid tiers on dating apps sell you back things the app took away. Limit the likes, sell unlimited. Hide who liked you, sell the reveal. On an LGBTQ+ app in India the same logic gets applied to safety: incognito mode and app-icon disguise are premium features on the biggest gay app in the country. That is selling people protection from being outed.
